Privacy policy

Last updated: 30 January 2026

Third Party API Ltd. ("we", "us") operates this website and the Third Party API. We process personal data as a controller for our website visitors and as a processor when you submit data through the API on behalf of your own customers.

What we collect

Cookies

This website uses a strictly necessary cookie to keep you logged in to the dashboard, and optional analytics cookies (only set after you consent via the cookie banner) to understand aggregate page usage. API endpoints themselves are cookie-free. You can withdraw consent at any time.

GDPR

Our legal bases are: performance of a contract (operating your account and the API), legitimate interests (security, fraud and abuse prevention) and consent (analytics cookies, marketing emails). You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data by emailing privacy@third-party-api.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We never sell personal data.

Retention & international transfers

Account data is retained for the life of your account plus 90 days. Submitted verification records are retained for 30 days by default (Enterprise customers may configure this to 0–90 days). Data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt) by default; US processing is opt-in. Transfers outside the UK/EU rely on the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Terms of service

Last updated: 30 January 2026

1. The service

We provide programmatic access to email verification, IP geolocation and contact enrichment over a REST API. You are responsible for how you use the results and for complying with laws applicable to your use of personal data.

2. Fair use & rate limits

Each plan includes published rate limits (requests per second and per month). Exceeding them may result in throttled responses (429) or, for persistent abuse, temporary key suspension. You agree not to: resell raw API responses as a competing verification service; intentionally circumvent rate limits (e.g. by rotating keys for one application); or submit data at a volume that degrades the service for other customers. Free-tier keys used in production by commercial products are permitted but unsupported.

3. Billing

Pro plans bill monthly in GBP by card. Overage is billed at published rates. Enterprise plans bill annually by invoice with net-30 terms. Amounts exclude VAT.

4. Availability

We target 99.9% monthly uptime (99.99% for Enterprise). Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 72 hours in advance and counts towards the SLA when it exceeds 30 minutes per month.

5. Liability

The API is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Termination

You may cancel at any time; you will retain API access until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment or material breach of these terms, with 14 days' notice where practicable.
